I've wanted to do this forever. The LoZ OoT sages deserve to have some sort of remake, so I thought I'd start with my two favorites, Saria and Darunia.
I'm pretty happy with how this turned out, but I want to give it a SEVERE makeover in the future because the color scheme is nothing like I intended.
It was supposed to have this cool background of the Fire Temple with some vines and plant life sprouting up in Saria's general vicinity, but all of that tedious working and light source stuff just put me off so badly, and I needed another digital painting for the District Awards. So this is the result.
That, and I want to give Darunia more tattoos and more detailed symbols in his armor. I'll figure that out later.

ah I love it.. if you ask me they should have had this armor in the game. It suits both their characters so perfectly, and Darunia's armor makes him look like he can stop a train at high speeds.
